When Maurice van der Spek approached me, I was immediately in love with his idea of starting a new platform for food journalism.
Together with my wife, who happens to be a graphic designer (what a coincidence!), we designed and developed his ideas into an identity and an online platform. For this, we started with a three-hour intensive strategy session to uncover the purpose and the features of the platform.
The outcome of this session was the basis for a newly formed identity, with matching typography and colors.
This identity was subsequently turned into a custom web
This approach enables Maurice to write articles and adapt almost anything he wants on his online platform.
