The Magnetic Maze is a different kind of mousemat, which was designed for heavy computer users with RSI complaints. The mousemat registers mouse usage and after a specific period of time, the magnetic maze inside the mousemat is turned on.
This maze restricts the movement of the mouse only through the openings in a maze. Hence, the user has the find his way through the maze by carefully feeling where the magnetic force is weakened or absent, and by this finding out how the maze is contstructed solely by examining the tactile attributes of the mousemat.  Only after finding the center of the maze, the magnetic maze is turned of and a user can use his mouse normally.
The aim of this concept is to induce users to move their mouse differently, breaking the normal mouse movement patterns and thereby reducing strain on certain muscles. In this way, the chance for getting RSI complaints is reduced.
